Sugarman Australia Celebrates Outstanding 2018

Last week Sugarman Australia held their first Team Conference and Awards ceremony, recognising the outstanding achievements the team have made in recent years.

The day, held at Sheraton on the Park in Sydney, included a team conference discussing what has changed in the business and the leaps forward made for clients and candidates, a team building session and in the evening a glamorous awards ceremony.

Sugarman Australia has grown from 2 branches and 36 employees in 2016 to 3 branches and 75 employees in 2019 with great ambition to expand into new divisions and open further branches this year, all with the goal of improving the customer experience for our clients and candidates across Australia.

The Conference was launched to not only celebrate great business performance and progress but as an opportunity for all three Australian branches to come together, get to know each other and make a plan for collaboration in the future. Along with key representatives from the UK business, the event was a huge success in bringing people together.

Colleagues rolled up their sleeves in a creative Paparazzi team building challenge utilising observation skills, problem solving, time management and eye for detail to stage photo opportunities using props and storyboards – a great opportunity to bring people together and have fun (as you can see from the photos!)

Mark Lavery, Sugarman Group Managing Director, said: “I’m extremely proud of the Sugarman Australia team and all they have achieved over recent years. Their dedication and enthusiasm to not only grow the business but to provide an exceptional service has been inspiring and this event was a fantastic way to recognise all their hard work. We have even greater ambition for the years to come and we hope this event will be the first of many.”
