PSYCHOLOGIST

THE ROLE

Location: Work from home option available, however office is based in Bankstown, Sydney

Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 depending on experience + Superannuation

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

In the role of Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering Psychology services in the clinic and community with exceptional client service to achieve consumer and organisational goals and outcomes. Key responsibilities and duties will include providing quality evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions to a diverse group of clients experiencing psychological challenges, including residents of aged care and private clients across both clinic-based and community settings, under the any of the following schemes: Medicare Better access to mental health care scheme, SIRA Workcover, NDIS, DVA, Victims of crime, Private fee-paying clients, Residents of aged care facilities.

You will provide direct therapy using a range of evidence based modalities (CBT, creative therapies, narrative therapy, DBT, etc) and understand and implement strategies based upon the model of Positive Behaviour Support. You will also understand and select appropriate assessment/s and interventions based on client needs and goals and write and deliver clear psychological assessment reports.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Fully Registered Psychologist
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Strong background and experience in relation to the above role description
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Willingness to undergo an NDIS Worker’s Check
